That will be really helpful once it works. Especially with my slow connection it will be nice to know when the turn runs out without having to log in!

I'll let everyone know when it's working. I've just tried engaging the uploader again, and it cross-uploaded with the CFC OT Civivor game I'm hosting on a different box.

If your two boxes are behind a single external IP, it's probably confusing the packets. The civstats developer needs to add the ability to use a different port number.

Different IPs, one is .90 and the other is .69.

make sure you are uploading it at the www.civstats address and not the www.apartment address. It wouldnt let me register my civ at teh apartmetn address but it woudl at the civstats address.
