(England + Germany) / Germany x World Cup = Lots of arrests unfortunately, however wins...

I hope we dont play Germany.

I think its;

(E+G)*G*WC = (G^2 + E*G) * WC = lots of arrests maybe

but you never know - so far it seems to have been okay *crosses fingers*, maybe they really have managed to stop the ringleaders travelling and can cope with the usual drunken stuff... we can live in hope but yeah you are probably right, still I think the match would be great .

Its in the hands of the football gods now anyway.

I think there can be no argument that England deserve Germany far more than any other team

You mean... Maradona will play ???

And why should England deserve Germany more than anyone else ? Here many people dream of beating Germany, after those 2 defeats against them in the 80s (both semi-finals of the WC, the 1982 one being a real nightmare).

So England has options.
- Qualified for the next round.
- Group A ranking is known prior to the match against Sweden (either Germany or Ecuador wins the group).

But also:
- Sweden needs a draw to go through.
- Sorry to say but England did not play very well.

My Q is how should England play the match with Sweden?
- Use it as a good training opportunity, grow the team and kick some ass.
- Use the match for regeneration and play B-team.
- Just play in a way to meet either germany or ecuador.
- Swedes are so nice ppl, let them have the next round as well.
- Another option.

Get me many points in the different games I'm in. But really, I don't know. Let's see who gets 1st in Group A before answering...

I watched a portion of the Swedish/Para? game and it was semi enjoyable, unlike the other games I caught a glimpse of. I watched from 45- 68 and saw the play that saved a goal. That one defender should be a national hero for paraguay, best play of the tourney so far.

If Sweden drew, then if T&T beat paraguay by 3/4 goals that'd mean T&T go through wouldnt it?

did you see John terry's desparing save in the England game romeo? though the Paraguay one was maybe a bit better.
