Well, I'm not ruling that out he would consider using the bomb in 1962, however, his advisors would have been much different than the ones he had in the early 70's.

Can't believe I'm defending fucking Nixon. DAMN YOU INTERNET!!!

I think I may have to vote for Obama now as he is the most right wing candidate left.

Oh well.

Maybe I will just write in Kang or Kodos. (Citizen Kang was probably the best Simpson's episode ever)

Romeo

You can write my name down. I am starting to feel I should just write myself in. I think it woudl be absolutely hilarious to open the paper and see my name as getting a vote.

Romney is officially out. Guess that means it's officially all McCain's now, unless his delegates go to Huckabee.

Giuliani gone, Thompson, and Romney. That leaves Ron Paul, Huckabee and McCain.

So three down, three to go.

My picks in descending order of preference:
Thompson X
Romney X
Huckabee Might as well be X, not a chance in hell
Giuliani X
McCain Might as well be a democrat, but I guess I'll vote for him if I have to.
Paul What a stinking nutcase this dude is! X

Oh well, socialism has won.

Can't say I'm thrilled by McCain, but he's better than Hillary and Obama hasn't said anything of substance for me to take a stand on (my default position is if they won't take a stand they are hiding something, but we'll see). Really curious about the fact that Bloomberg has been collecting signatures to get on the ballot. Given the way things stand, he is worth a close look and maybe a vote.

Well, I am one of those truely one issue above all other candidates. The candidate must be pro-life, or they will never get my support. This kind of leaves me in a compromised situation, and of the major candidates, gravitates me to Huckabee. One of the issues that some consider as issues, I consider as a litmus test. Must know global economic theory (Sorry Ron), Must not be a cult member (Sorry Mitt).

I can go on, but my hatred of Mormon's is deep rooted and grows stronger all the time. My wifes folks were/are Mormon's and are some of the most hosed up people I know. The Wife's Grandpa had 8 wives, and it was perfectly acceptable to beat, torture, sell sex favors of the wives and children. This guy was an Elder in the Mormon church. With the attidtude on how to deal with others, raise children, etc, I have a small sample group, but I will not ever support a Mormon. Sorry about that rant, but it I want others to be aware of some of the crap that goes on.

This is a link of a group ~25 miles from my old home. I can corroborate many of these stories, and get some of my buddies who are game wardens and EMS guys to back up these facts. This stuff truely makes me sick.

I actually do think he's hiding something, because I heard he had very progressive ideas, even socialistic by European standard, before the campaign started. Things that just don't give you any vote in the US, as brilliant as they might be.

I think Obama is just as extremic as GWBush is, but then in the opposite direction.

Apart from thinking that the term "pro-life" is a ridiculous term used by religious zealots, just to label those who believe that self-determination is a basic human right, are "anti-life" (which is really a nasty and false accusation), I still wonder:

Congress endorses laws on this subject, right? And not the President or some Secretary. So why bother on this one (thus relatively unimpotant) issue? Is the type of president really goping to make a difference on this issue?
