Set an IM to defensive or something like that.

You can have a midfielder playing towards wing (Better field a winger there for that)

They never transfered. The second one could have gotten a good price if properly advertised.

I've currently got a decent crop of young English players which I am training Scoring. However, within about 6 weeks or so I'll have 2 at ET, 3 at Titanic and a youngun at WC. I was considering changing to training midfield following the next round of pops.
This would require a fairly heft initial investment for at least 5 new players (depending on how competitive I want to be in my new league) but I felt that this could be covered by the sale of 2 of my current trainees. My initial idea was to train passing, as I figured this would benefit my still young forwards and my young trainees before swapping round at a later date. I was wondering if anyone has any experience of training passing and the value increase it gives the players as well as the effect on the team in general? I've read that 3 pops of passing is roughly equivalent to 1 pop of focused training but without the larger salary increases but more importantly I was wondering what the effect the passing may have on my later training of PM for the kids as well as how passing would benefit my forwards?

I had a player who I am training scoring, turned 23 and skill declined from ET to titanic. He has been trained for a full match this week. He seemed to decline over the past 12 hours. Has anyone heard of anything similar/ do you reckon I should file a ticket?

No. I guess, the player just popped to ET on friday, didn't he?
Unlike in earlier Hattrick times, players do not only lose skill if they are old, but also they lose some skill each monday if they are above a certain level (I think above titanic, but I am not sure where that level is) That skill drop is only a real tiny one, but if your player was at x.01 he might now be at (x-1).99 That change has been in place for a few years (about 3, I think). IIRC it came when training speed was changed to being skill-dependant
