Default Friendlies, march 24

So... apparently, international friendlies in England are played on tuesdays... *sigh*

Sorry meli, a rematch? I trashed the manglers 1-5, but this was my first team. This sucks big time, since my second team won't receive training this week... and might get a form loss. Not. Good.

Shabba had chosen a strategic 3-5-2 formation. The following players had been chosen: Aupperlee - Geluk, Ramsaur, Geurden - de Ruijsscher, Decker, de Maat, Romano, Leblanc - Oorburg, Hamers.

Manglers saw most attack opportunites on the wings and were directing their passes that way. Shabba took the lead after 36 minutes with 0 - 1. Bas de Ruijsscher placed the ball out of reach for the home sides keeper after a fine move, coming in from the left. After 37 minutes a combination in the middle resulted in a through ball for Tomas Leblanc who increased Shabba´s lead to 0 - 2. 0 - 2 was the half-time score. Shabba held the ball, with a clear 67 percent possession rate.

Shabba´s Mûsâ Ramsaur received a play slashing through the home side´s defense in the 75:th minute, chipping it past the keeper scoring 0 - 3. The home crowd was not pleased with that one. Some fine manouvering on the left lead to an 75:th minute Shabba goal, making it 0 - 4. Yair Romano was noted down as the scorer. Some fine manouvering on the left lead to an 85:th minute Shabba goal, making it 0 - 5. Jeremy Oorburg was noted down as the scorer. After this Shabba lowered the tempo in order to concentrate on their defensive efforts. Aatmaj Venkataraman sailed high, high above the opponents as he headed the 1-5 in after a corner kick after 86 minutes of play. In the games 87:th minute Shabba´s Tomas Leblanc fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee booked Tomas Leblanc for taking a dive. Shabba, bringing the final ball possession rate to 77 percent, dominated the battle.

The most dominating Manglers player was without a doubt Aatmaj Venkataraman. Oskar Rouvé on the other hand, had a terrible day. Most important Shabba player was Yair Romano. Pieter Aupperlee on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 1 - 5.

You played your first team?

I thought that 5-1 was reasonable against your second team, aparently my second team isnt all that bad huh?

As for a rematch maybe we should wait and see if Yndy wants to get a tournament started again.

Well, my second team beat you 4-1, apparently there isn't much difference between my first and second team.
