Workers during anarchy
Well, this is something y'all may know but I didn't (or I forgot).
Workers work slower during anarchy. I'm not sure how much slower but I had been able to irrigate in one turn with a given stack, then during anarchy I couldn't. Anyone know the specifics? |

I think they work at half speed during anarchy, part of the penalty of switching governments.

I believe they work at the 'base rate' - which is given in the civlopedia for worker actions. It appears to be half rate as all governments have a worker rate of at least 2 (3 for democracy). IIRC jobs already started are done at the rate at which you had when starting the job - so it only applies to jobs started during anarchy. So if you are in the last turn or two of anarchy it is often worth just moving workers into position ready for the next turn rather than starting a job. |

Yeah, I'm not that much of a micro manager by nature, it's just not that necessary vs. the AI so I only do it in the beginning and in a pinch.
Against a micro managing whore though... |
