Laptop coffee spill
After drowning my last laptop in beer I served my current laptop a cup of freshy ground espresso last thursday. Immediately unplugged power and took out battery. Wiped clean, disassembled and let it dry for a few days. After carefully putting is together again last sunday it works again. Just a few minor issues at first: ENTER and \ key don't function smoothly any more and my machine emits a very present coffee smell (not kidding)
Yesterday however I had some problems with IE/Windows so I ordered a new machine to avoid being laptopless in case of a total meltdown. Computers just don't understand the joys of good coffee.

I once spilled a yogurt drink over my keyboard. The keys were a bit sticky after that, but it still worked.
