Who'd like to play a PBEM on Rise of Rome?
![]() Rome, Carthago, Macedon (=Greece), Persia. I prefer not to play as Persia as I've already done that once as beta tester. But I can tell from that game that this Conquest is extremely fun! ![]() I don't have Conquests myself, but might get it on december 6th (Sinterklaas). If not, I'll buy it the day after. ![]() ![]()

I'll take that in consideration. I don't know exactly how much time I'll have on hand. BTW, from what I've seen (Anarres' screenshots) there's a corruption bug in that scenario. I don't know exactly what, but maybe it'd be a good idea to wait for a patch.

I will play, and I don't mind being someone shit (Carthage?). I know Rome is massively favoured in this scenario, and I imagine Macedon is also quite strong.

It was my impression that Rome and Persia were most powerful, but not Macedon. Persia has an untouchable backland (because of no 'X-wrapping') but Macedon is caught between Persia and Rome. Rome starts very small though; that's their biggest disadvantage.
Edit: waiting for the first patch might be a good idea, Shabbaman!

I'll be up for it. If my computer is fixed in time. I do agree however that it may be wise to wait for the first patch. What's an expansion without the obligatory patch 1 month after to fix the bugs. :-p
Anyway, I would say that Carthage and Rome are probably the two most powerful, although Carthage is somewhat squashed in the corner. Anyway, I will take Carthage if all possible.

PBEM or Internet MP?

Well as it says 'PBEM' I'm guessing a 'PBEM'.
If it turns to multiplayer then unfortunatly I can't play.

PBEM. Turns take far too long in this scenario for turn based, but that makes it perfect for PBEM.
