Default Multi-human PBEM?

I read all the Fab4 spoilers, and a game with multiple humans seemed like a lot of fun, even if it lasts for awhile. Perhaps it would be better to wait until I have more experience, but generally I have never let my (lack of) abilities slow me down.

Four players seems about the right amount. Game keeps moving, but nice number of players. Also, random map balanced by the map maker seems reasonable to me. Any interest?

That sounds good to me. I am thinking Egypt or the French, depending on the sort of map we choose.

Signing in, can't miss one of these. I'd like to play the Greeks, if we agree to the non-agricultural setting and won't chose an archipelago.

fine, now thta we are 4 we should discuss the map type - how about we ask a mapmaker to give us a pangae type map for early war AND long-term potential? maby with multiple chokepoints between all players or so?

I wouldn't like the obvious 2vs2 that develops from a continents map, and archipelago sucks IMO.

I think a pagea would be fine. Do we want AI on it or not? If not I'd say a small map would be best, while there is still enough room for 4 players.

tiny to small was what I thouhgt. I personally am AGAINST AIs on the map, unless there are 4 of them, each ONLY connected to ONE human (pet civ). Otherwise, idiotic AI behaviour can screw up the fun too easily (dumb blocking of chokes or stuff).

Do we want SGLs on? And SoZ?

I'd like to play with them on, as long as the chances on ivory are equal an the troop the SoZ gives is changed to somehting less powerfull, but upgradable.
