3 vs. 3 locked alliance
Tubby, RegentMan and I had a lot of fun playing against the Russian forum team. RegentMan said he'd need to lurk this game but Tubby, Wosret, Barbu and I are looking for two more people to join us in another game. We will also need a mapmaker. Beam did a great job on our last one. Thanks Beam! Any takers on a map?
I was thinking continents but with 3-5 coastal lanes for early action. Any other thoughts? We played the Russian game with AP on. Very weird to have 2 turn settler factories I must say.

You're in 'Cane. One more and we have a game.
On civ...Akots did a very good job balancing the civs and traits in the russian game. Iroquois/Persians/Japanese vs. Celts/Chinese/Greeks Can you think of any other combos that would be fair?

One idea is no agri or ind civs, but that takes away some fun civs to play as and some strategy tactics. Definitely no accelerated production.

OK we have the players now what are the teams? No AP on. It was kinda weird.
We could make it interesting by drafting serpentine style with no overlapping traits for each team. (IE 1 ag, 1 ind) Team 1 picks their civ Team 2 picks two Team 1 picks two Team 2 picks their last two and Team 1 finishes.

I think standard continents with 3-5 sealanes for early potential combat.
I don't know what's fair as far as teams. Wanna hang with me Tubs even if we get our heads kicked in?
