Civ 4 ISDG sign up thread
So, are there any of us interested in a Civ 4 ISDG experience?
see: http://www.civ3duelzone.com/forum/to...?TOPIC_ID=3343 and http://evo-games.net/Home/viewforum.php?f=241 If you are, please post here, so we can see if there is enough interest to form a CDZ team, and then we can let the organizers know if we will participate as a team. Thanks

I'd be willing to play this...
I think it's a great way to get more into the game, but I also think there are some serious issues to be considered before play commences. Most importantly: - Exploits/rules - Administration Now I read at EVO that MRex is not going to admin this game. Which is good, because quite a few of us think he's a bad admin, but on the other hand it might become a problem to find a new admin. It is a hard and thankless job after all...

If there ever was a few people I would like doing a job like that, it would be Shaitan, DZ and Rik.
Edit: I dont know what I am talking about, as I apparently cannot read an entire post before I make my own sometimes, and so I might have come to the wrong conclusion about Rik's post. What I nevertheless mean to say is: I think you could make a good admin Rik, and if you do, it is a bold and brave move. If you dont, I certainly understand your reasons (including not playing cIV)

I'd be willing to get in this from the ground up. I haven't been too vocal in the civ3 ISDG mainly because I came in at the end and I didn't know the other team members well enough. If I can start from the ground up, I'll help out where I can. Admins that are dolts are just like bumping up a level or two in difficulty in a SG. So I really don't care who is admin except Mrex since there might be some hard feelings that would be hard to put aside from the civ3 ISDG.
Another note is that I won't be able to play the saves for a little while once my wife has our 2nd little Tubby. I'll be able to contribute from work though as much as possible.

I'd very much like to play! Until it turns into juristic crap again, then I'm out.

OK, so that's at least six of us...
That seems like a decent number to form a team, doesn't it? Maybe others will join later? I'll wait a bit longer (tomorrow?) and then post a response on EVO... @Matrix: All the juristic crap is what annoys me too. I really hope we can avoid that this time... It's really simple. Just set up a ruleset, get some admins who enforce the rules (and only the rules (no creative bullshit)) and then just play.
