Erikk vs Plux ***SPOILER***
Here's a little peek at the current situation in this game:
157.17KB Look at the stats, I find these quite odd, being last in land area but first in GNP and MFG. 86.68KB |

That's a Spanish couple of settlers with two accompanying spears. To the south there is an isthmus that I'm blocking to keep Byzantium out. Both AI's are some techs ahead, but I almost finished min@writing which I hope to trade with Isabella.

More pics follow later, but here's a little teaser of the latest turn (180):
I am a million techs behind, so I filled six or seven galleys entirely with knights, and set sail for St. Petersburg, the GL-city. Just before arrival Erik sinks one of em, but the others can land their load in time, before more evil maya privateers start their chase. The knights survive the first Russian attack, and then.. Victory! 68.06KB However, Erikk's troops are waiting on the other side of town , and something's telling me (Erikk on MSN) that he won't let me keep my little precious. GD the fact that you don't get the techs you deserve upon conquering! 55.47KB PS: Notice that I did manage to bring the two remaining galleys into safety |

You tell me.. I'm running quite out of options
I guess I'll go for Cavalries asap now and beat the crap out of Xerxes, hoping that Erikk will stick to his own continent for a while. |
