What's your current coach like?
Do you want a new one now or in more than a season? Let's say, you want a solid coach with solid leadership in a season. Then you should look on the transfer list for players with solid experience and solid leadership (you can search for that). That is if you have enough money. I don't know the prices atm, have bought someone last season for 500 K Euros but that took a while to find. Alternatively you can buy someone with passable experience and solid leadership and let him play regularly until he is at least solid in experience. Each XP point saves you money on conversion. To become a solid coach he must have at least solid experience. You shouldn't take something less than a solid coach. Leadership passable might be ok though.

My current coach is Brilliant experience and disastrous leadership..
I'm in a new division this year and my team sucks compared to others so I'm thinking now is the time to change, since I'm sure I will be in this division for quite a bit of time, Say if I buy a solid/solid do I have to wait "X" amount of time before I can add him as a coach? |

Yes. You have to wait a full season.
For your current coach, experience doesn't count. It's only for future coaches.
