not that I know of. I did learn last week that CIV Col is 'protected' with SecuROM 7, the infamous piece of software that also has been slapped on Spore and caused a huge outrage because of the 3 instals limit.

I read up about what securom 7 does and imo it's close to criminal. It kills of some applications and disrupts cd/dvd copy programms and progs like alcohol120%. ON top of that it slows your pc down.

Found a site that has instructions how to remove the whole shebang and I plan on getting rid of it soon.
