I have now contact with the Mongols, the Zulu, the Iroquois and the Americans, of which the last two are positioned quite near in the south. After a small trading session a few turns ago for which I'm now paying 4gpt but which netted me five techs, we are all equal in tech, and I'm 11 turns away from IW at min research, which I hope to be a monopoly tech.
