Normally I'd say that if you want a leader to die, you make them a general and they die much quicker.

But you have a Queen and they can't be made generals either

I guess you get to wait it out and work on lowering your infamy and building up your buildings. You know, peace stuff, build up your navy, get ready for Colonising the new world. Worry about your tech slider positions.
