I've been training wingers for years, and this has long been quite profitable. About a year ago I decided it was time to sell this guy,
Gisbert van Harten. I bought him as a wingback, so he'd benefit from the training my wingers get. By that time his winger skill was supernatural or something, pretty high compared to his brilliant defending skill. I couldn't sell him for a price I wanted to get: at least more than I payed for him.
Anyway, to get to the point: I'm sure I overpaid for this particular player, but I'm quite sure I didn't overpay for my primary trainees (quick with decent PM). My conclusion is that (once again) the economy went belly up, or whatever it is, I don't know... Now, some of these guys are getting old enough to dump them and grab whatever petty cash I can get (if I would need the money, that is), but what do you do with players that you will lose money on if you sell them? Sell them?
