I was never much of a first person shooter. But I tend to prefer the WW2 style ones - Call of Duty and Brothers in Arms
I can't play them for very long, the get tedios very quickly...whilst Civ never seems to get tedious..until the end game

but thats cos is a huge map with 18 civs

.

My PC is getting a bit old for decent frame rates on the newer games. I hope to upgrade early next year
