Actually this is not really true as I currently make $20 an hour and my wife makes $6. But I think that is due to me having 2 bachelors degrees and 99% of my masters done, and her having a G.E.D.
When I was skinny and ugly, then I got no respect. Ugly and football sized, respect and more money. If I can make it up to Vin Diesel or Arnold size, than I can be an action star. But I have no desire to work out 4 hours a day and use steriods and/or 3-5 supplements.
There is a lot of truth to this, but I try and judge almost entirely on ability and skill not looks. I just lucked out that my wife is a looker and can cook.
