It's a pity that an important reason for France and Netherlands to vote NO was the EU's expansion policy and in a way the immigration policy. I guess that some usefull things were rejected because in the past the EU choose to expand into the somewhat unprepared Eastern Europe and plans to continue to do so. Of course they would not hold a vote for that as they knew what the answer will be.
I am curious to see how the vote impacts the calendar for the accession of Romania and Bulgaria to the EU as the general opinion at home is that it will be delayed by at least 1 year but may be even more than that.
