Yeah, that album was in the Dutch (that might be it ) list for several years. In the days I collected a top40 chart ,weekly at the local record shop (we've all been there, right?), one of the things I checked was if it was still there: It always was.

Actually, I have that album and I am not the only one in my family. Wouldn't reagrd it one of the best albums I have, though. It has one of the best covers!

It's from wikipedia. Though wiki is a useless resource if you try to find out whether invading Iraq was justified, I trust it on a list like this. Apparently, the music business has its own ways......

There are quite some Dutch artists (singing in Dutch) that are easily the best selling artists in Holland, while they make absolute shit. They also get full houses when performing live. Watching the enthousiasm of the audiance (think house wifes in there 50s) makes your jaw drop and your stomach turn.
