Aggie - Dharms *spoiler*

Dharms: you are not allowed to look into this thread [:o]

We decided to play on a map designed by Dharms. It's emperor level, accelerated production. I never played that, but we'll see. I'm Persia and Dharms Egypt.

At turn 52 the world get's to know the power of the Immortal:

I razed one city and took another!

Turn 55:

China payed me 5 techs, world map and 83 gold to declare war on Dharms :D

I buy the remaining three ancient techs for 15 gpt from Babylon. I enter the Middle Ages and get Engineering for free. [band]

Turn 85:

The war against the Aztecs went terribly slow. It is just unbelievable how many units the AI can produce in accelerated production [cry]. I even had to decide to end my siege on the capital, despite the fact that it had The Great Library.

So I first turned to republic and then concentrated on the Mongols. However, so did dharms. He beat me to two cities, declared war and killed about 5 immortals!! Luckily I also was able to get two cities.

Dharms is at war with the whole world now. I am thinking about getting a peace deal with him in order to build up an army of Knights or Cavs. The immortals are to slow and are easily killed by the fast war chariots on this map.

Meanwhile I have a giant tech lead while Dharms is still a despot. But he will be able to switch fast as religious civ. I am producing faster and also have a higher population, while dharms has more territory.

I am not feeling very lucky in this game. The RNG is against me. Defending immortals were very often beat by horsemen and archers (80% of the cases).

You mean you accepted that he had a FOREKNOWLEDGE of the Map ???????????
[wallbash]

Aggie 07-07-2003 14:33

I also had that knowledge Sky :D

Skyfish 07-07-2003 15:07

OH really....beats the fun out of a game if you ask me but OK [dunno]

Aggie 07-07-2003 15:12

Sky, absolutely true, the exploring is gone. But since he's new at CDZ I figured I comply to his wishes...

Turn 88:

Dharms somehow got Knights and launched a counter attack on my continent.

I resigned. [cry]

We decided a couple of days ago that this wasn't going to be sumbitted for the ladder. Still I feel bad because I've been beat in a surprise attack :(
