We won our first cup match 0-5. Next week we play against a human team. Human managers are out of our league this season.

Heh.

Won 2-6 away. Ratings were closer than expected, maybe the opponent had more bonus through loyalty than I had.

Next week might already be tough.

My oppponent on saturday is selling all players,I hope he doesn't field them, as the transfer time is later than the match.

I just found out that I won my first cup match 0-12, piccing against a human manager.

wow, I have not seen more than 9 goals often!

On my part, as usual I have 2 easy cup games.

On the league side, I had a rather nice 2-0 win on a game that could have gone both ways. 3 points on a season where every one will be important.

In my league, a team won 6-3 after being behind 1-3 even at 68th minute...

I won 3-0 at home PICing. My opponent did field a competitive team, although not as strong as it would have normally been. So, starting from 2nd place. The league is in general not weak, so from place 1 to 7 everything can happen.

PiC-ed and lost 1-10. I will see what Wednesday brings, but I expect a huge loss.

I won my cup match pretty easily and just beat second in the league last year at home 4-1. The loyalty bonus has had quite a large affect on my squad as they're all autmoatically divine loyalty.

Won my cup match against a bot and then MOTS'ed against the only other human team in my series and won that too. I will be crushed tomorrow in my Cup match and then it is on to 12 weeks of bot bashing in the series.

Something strange happened last night. I won in overtime (edit: penalties even!), completely undeserved!

For me it is! I used to lose completely undeserved...

Since both attacks ratings were so low, I guess a coin toss would have beed a better Idea.

BTW, why did you make a sub after 1 minute?

And, BTW, your team was usually strong. So every lost match would be undeserved and every won deserved. So no surprise that the number of undeserved losses would be much higher than undeserved wins...

I forgot to change the standard line-up and changed it just now. That player was injured a few weeks ago and since I went on vacation I didn't want to take the gamble that he'd be fielded while still injured...

And indeed I over-reacted f(or the fun of it). It was a coin's toss. I also like Ynnek's explanation!

I won my cup match 9 nil, forgot to PIC though.

Won 0-5 away in the cup with a PIC. I am unsure whether I should concentrate on the cup. I think, I can safely avoid direct demotion and probably even qualifiers if I do, but maybe I have the chance to win the series if I don't concentrate on the cup. Let's see.

Only lost 5-1. What a good game!

My opponent forgot to play 2 deffenders. I don't know why, since he logged on last friday. Therefore, I won 0 - 2. I could have won by more, but I forgot to remove coache's instruction for my to wingers to play deffensive after we took the lead.

Right now, I'm on top of III.14. I'll enjoy it while it lasts.

I played 4-5-1, PIC away and didn't expect any points. Obviously my opponent did neither so he played pressing. In the end, I got a 3-1 win, which was justified.

So I am on a good way to have a quiet season in the league again.

No new cup upset yesterday, so from now on we have to book friendlies...

Won 0-5 away in the cup. Didn't PIC, as I wanted to play some very young winger from my academy for training and thus played a IM to wing...In the end, I could have PICed as my opponent didn't field his strongest team. But better this way than the other.

Next week, I'll face a team from one div below that pays salaries that are about 30% higher than mine...Still I think I might win.

I won 0-11. This is the first time my team scores more than 10 goals.!

One guy managed 4 goals. Another one 3. Unfortunatly, one got red-carded and will miss the next match.

Lost 1-3. Crowd attendance was 15,000 only. Based on this I adjusted the predicted income for this season.

Won 6-1 at home. 3 matches, 3 wins...I guess, I won't be demoting...but the 1st placed team is probably too strong for me. Let's see. Difficult cup match tomorrow...

Tied 0-0. Post game predictions gave me 75% win chances. It's funny how 3 games ended in a tie in the league this week.

Lost 8-6 in penalty shootout in the cup.

Could hae won. I made one sub in 73rd minute (IM) and in the 74th minute, another IM got injured which put my sub defender in...

And in minute 111 another player got injured, after I already had 3 changes.
What's bad about this: That guy is basically dead, as he is 36 and got a 4 week injury. He is a future coach, otherwise I'd fire him...he is my 4th attacker anyway, but he is still a nice FTW.

At least I can now train my young players effectively.

I'm also out of the cup. I lost 2-1. Looks like I misjudged the strenght of my opponent.

Anyways, I'll now concentrate on training

I had quite a strange cup loss as well. But not to complain, since the win of the league match on Sunday was completely undeserved.

It should be the other way round. Shabba FC on Hattrick is older...

Indeed. Ridiculous... It gets weirder: they're also playing in orange. It'd be spookier if they'd played in black shirts with an orange crossbeam.

For the first time since years I'm actually training players. Does someone know where to find the info on how primary and subskills affect midfielders, wingers, defenders and strikers? And also info on what would be ideal stats for the top-player...???

I've been looking for that information for a few months. I have not been able to find it.

I'm now training 7 defenders/wingbacks I know I should go train 10, but I like the the ability to be excellent at either 4-4-2 and 3-5-2.

Rumors say it is complicated and needs ridiculous amount of time to figure out. That is why I stick to keepers. This is less complicated because they need only main skill and set pieces.

This site shows the contributions to each skill per position but I find it hard to read: players-contributions-table
