You seem to have been given a good starting defence: (plus a couple of others)
Ben Izzard TSI = 680 , 25 years, poor form Has wretched experience and inadequate leadership abilities [Unpredictable] Stamina: poor Keeper: disastrous Playmaking: weak Passing: inadequate Winger: inadequate Defending: passable Scoring: inadequate Set Pieces: weak James Mellor (Probably your SP taker) TSI = 290 , 25 years, weak form Has poor experience and poor leadership abilities Stamina: wretched Keeper: wretched Playmaking: inadequate Passing: wretched Winger: poor Defending: solid Scoring: disastrous Set Pieces: solid Philippe Voyer TSI = 800 , 25 years, weak form Has poor experience and disastrous leadership abilities Stamina: inadequate Keeper: disastrous Playmaking: weak Passing: wretched Winger: inadequate Defending: solid Scoring: poor Set Pieces: poor Your midfield isn't great. You only have two passable playmakers and only one of them has stamina so I think I would suggest training playmaking since you could keep Hines until he pops to solid and Lee Cuninghame-Green would be trainable since he is 19 and you could initially do 4 weeks of stamina training to get him and some other trainees to a decent level of playmaking. Joey Hines TSI = 310 , 24 years, weak form Has disastrous experience and inadequate leadership abilities Stamina: passable Keeper: disastrous Playmaking: passable Passing: wretched Winger: poor Defending: weak Scoring: weak Set Pieces: inadequate You should also try to get an inadequate keeper with a TSI over 1000 for about $2000 since you don't seem to have a goalkeeper. Idan Afek is weak but really that isn't good enough so you could just keep him as the sub. David Sinclair is probably your coach so you should get a passable training coach with poor leadership and then sack Sinclair. |
Congrats on getting the team, and as Dell pointed out, some very nice defenders in your starting selection, no worries there.
Since indeed your midfield/playmakers is something your team is lacking in, starting off a training program with those guys in place could very well be worth the effort, as it is the most important part of the team by far in lower divisions. And since you do not have any good midfielders at all atm, you might want to consider doing a stamina gambit since no matter what you are going to train, you'll have to train on stamina early on anyways... if you'd do the stamina gambit, you'd only need to train like 2 or 3 weeks more of stamina, but you'll get some very easy money plus some good midfielders quite rapidly. For more info on the stamina gambit, you can read up either by visiting yndy's team "Chimica Tarnaveni" on HT and look at his club page, or try to figure out some details in the forum about it, especially in my own team's thread, located here: http://www.civ3duelzone.com/forum/to...?TOPIC_ID=1944 Note that when training stamina, coach level has no or very little impact, so a weak trainer (which you have now) would be as good as any other, so that would free up some money early on for your team to spend on the gambit. It's really a shame you're just a few days late for participating in the CDZ Cup, but hopefully you'll enjoy the game as much as we all do so that we will see your team competing in editon 7 next season. :) |
Looks like the Barbiers will reach round 2 of its national cup :D
The number of teams in Canada has been increased from 2728 to 10920. I'll finaly be able to see what a bot team looks like. |
meh... you see one, you've seen them all. [:p] You could likely reach round 3 or higher if there is that big of an influx of bot teams.
|
What did you end up training?
|
I trained passing for a while, but the program was not very well done.
Now I'm a keeper trainer. |
Barbados Friendly scheduled.
My rare flag collection is improving: http://www.maptrick.org/coolness.php...108306#results |
I guess, we can do something about that Paraguay flag...
|
Nice.
|
I'm trying, like so many, to get those away flags before the home ones
|
A few months ago, having nothing to do in the game, I asked to become a trainer for the NT. Last week, one of my player had his first NT selection.
|
Congratulations!
I am currently training a U20-player of Parguay in my 2nd team (at least I hope he will get some matches again soon). The player even comes from my own youth squad... I also think it's a nice shift of attention to do something different. |
So,
I put my B team on the field to get my best players for the CDZ cup and I loose 0-1. Therefore here is the promotion status. Code:
Leaders Goals Points ± I guess it's not big news, but at least you have something to read when you read "new post" |
And you will lose in the CDZ cup anyway
(No, I don't really think so) At least the qualifier gives your players more experience. I have to play qualifiers for avoiding demotion with both of my teams. Unlucky for first team, lucky for the 2nd team where I expected to demote directly after a few matches. |
Quote:
Not my fault this time. We should all breath easier once you finally win the CDZ cup. |

Too bad you lost your qualifier, but maybe you can win your league next season again. I was lucky with my two qualifiers that I had opponents which were easily beatable.

I Picced and played my B squad. |
Well, then, congratulations: You reached the important goals!

Your coolness rating is 100%!
|
Kamerun is the rarest flag? Not expected.
Which country is it that you did not visit? Is that Costa Rica? Should be doable then as well... Anyway: Congratulations! |

After that, only 104 nations to host. Maybe... |

How is your quest going? |

I realized I just crossed the halfway mark in the hosted countries column, only to realize I still have over a year to go until I finish the damn thing.

So another year of hattrick premium down the drain.
|
I have never put a penny in the game. IMHO Hattrick is worth at most 20$/year. Good thing Mapttrick tracks my flag collection.
Edit: I did click on a couple Evony ads. |
I didn't know that was a thing. Perhaps that'd have kept me interested.

I don't even know what evony is...

I'm scaling down on Hattrick since one year, my Platinum expires in June and I'll let my second team die. I'll keep the main team for the history's sake.
I did a nice experiment with my second team over the last 3(?) years, I'm planning to write an article on hattrick about that. PS: Hi guys, it's been 4 and a half years since my last visit, happy to see you're still around. PPS: My wife still plays Civ III. |

Hard part of the hosted table is done.
Should be easy for the remaining 40 flags. http://www.civduelzone.com/forum/att...1&d=1507209848 |
Those 102 teams from Cameroon are all 2nd teams?

I wonder how many of those have emigrated to France or something.
|
does anybody know what they are living for?
