Interestingly, ProPain is defensive! He has LOTs of warriors boarding his lands. I told him this turn would be decisive (if no iron I would have capitulated and offered myself as his vassal - or his eternal annoying nemesis if he'd refused). He SHOULD be pushing into my lands, but he seems content to sit and wait. OK, he MAY be pushing a settler towards the copper, and he is certainly ahead (he did analyze the charts to the point of exactly knowing my build queue), but that's betting on odds. Moving into my lands would put the onus of uphill battles on me; he should be sitting all over my forests and hills.

Well, I guess I have a 20% chance of getting the iron online in time.....

I accepted - I can't keep him from settling the copper, as he has archers now.
