3400BC meet Hannibal, refuses to trade alpha for 2 techs and 10 gold. Gonna have pottery in 4 try again then. Stumble on great 2 cow spot just south of capital! Hello second city spot :)

3250BC trade alpha for Warrior COde, pottery 3gpt and 14 gold with Hannibal. got conscript warrior out hut. Got 4 warrior scouting, 1 fortified settler in 5 turns. My 2 plains/1 hills with grapes are mined and I'm producing pretty quickly now :)

Which civs are you guys?

I met all the civs including mel. He doesn't have alpha but appears to have IW. He won't go for a straight swap but wants more. So no go. Lets see what our future holds the next few turns

In turn 51 I discovered not everyone had Horseback Riding yet. Traded it with ??(I'll look that up later) and used HR & contact with carthaginians to get IW from Spain. I have HR and Alphabet which Mel doesn't. He could have Mysticism but my guess is he doesn't so I'm 2 techs away. Also my 2nd city is 2 cow city and it will finish a granry in 2 turns. I will have 2 settler facs then. I've spotted 3 horses (1 already connected), 1 iron, lots of dyes and some furs nearby, so I'm going landgrab first.

I popped/built 8 warriors of which 6 are scouting. I'm hoping to pop some more huts and disperse some camps. For now my mil. adv. says I'm average compared to the rest so I'll be safe.

Some new events. Mel declared war on the egyptians and destroyed 2 of their cities. AFAIK he didn't capture one. He made peace for all the remaining techs so he's tech par now.

I made some more tech deals for gpt including one with the Greeks. After it expired it turned out my warrior ended up next to 2 greek workers [:0] free workers! Declare war, take workers. I'm in a land grabbing phase still. More land to grab, more resources to add to the Ottoman empire. Will post a screenie tomorrow.
