Annoying thread view
 

Hi,
congrats to the forum move - very nice! [music]

However, I must say that I'm pretty annoyed by the default thread view ("Display Options"). In the ISDG thread (or Civ3 general discussions), it is sorted by "Thread title", Ascending - shouldn't that be "Last Post Time", "Descending" like in most other threads?

If not, it would be nice if the user could set this as well (like the view within the threads).

Well, it should be last post date/descending obviously. That's not the default view though: that'd be "threads from the last day"/""thread title"/"ascending". So I have to change these settings manually, and you can imagine that I haven't done this for each forum yet.

There is an option in the user CP to set your own default view though.

Where? I can only see the one for the view within the threads. :o

I don't know either :o But I've set the default in the fora you mentioned to last post/descending, and I'll do the same for every other forum. If I get to it... There's more stuff that has to be done, like cleaning up the forum descriptions of the pbem fora. I can do both ungrateful tasks at the same time.
