The sinking ship[ called Hattrick
Anybody read this article?
It's from July already but I just noticed it today. I surely agree with quite some points he makes (youth academy, forum, moderation) . I have to say that Hattrick is losing my interest again. |
Forum and moderation might be points where there are regional differences.
I like the Youth Academy. But: If I would start now with Hattrick, I'd probably not stick with it. For me, Hattrick got its interest through 4 things: - I made it far and am succesful sticking near the top (I consider league IV to belong to the top in Germany) - Federations - the Hattrick Radio I am part of (ok, I haven't had the time to do much this year) - The monthly meeting of Hattrick managers in my town And two of these 4 points even aren't provided by Hattrick itself... Overall: I still like it as a game. |
TBH I'm only in it for the CDZ cup and my extensive hall of fame.
|
I like the game, but hate all the changes they make. I made the decision to hang around and change my team at the end of this season. Will probably go for winger training and then see how it goes.
If they are changing the game another time then I probably will decide to quit. |
The problem is: If they never change anything, then I'd rather quit. Might be my personal opinion, but I like the challenge of adapting to new changes. Not that I agree with every change they made.
|
Still they are changing too much too fast. It seems like a panic-reaction. Tehy should get used to the new reality that the game is not going to grow anymore. I think it is shrinking. Accept it and adapt your strategy would be my advice to the HT's, but they start panicing.
I still have the feeling I can climb a bit from 4 although MY guys are getting old. |
