Mistfit is 40... eek gads

Yup.. I turned 40 this week.
Nope this is not a thread hoping for happybirthday wishes..

I just posted it here to put down some of my thoughts..

1.) It is a bit scarey that I am somewhere between 2/3 to 1/2 way done with this life... Oldest male on my Dad's side of the family that we can find is around 64 yrs old...

2.) I do not feel as if I am 40. When I think of myself I envision someone that is mid to late 20's....

3.) I have a child that is within 10 yrs of graduating high school.. and plays Civ.

4.) I have known my wife for over 1/2 of my life...

It all seem surreal to me... but in the end turning 40 is just another day of the week.

Welcome to the club!

It is not that bad as long as you feel good, can make some money and got no serious health issues.

But four years ago I was also in a sort of coma for a few weeks. You'll get used to it.
