With it, you're looking at just shy of 300 BPT in that city alone (0% science), with the world #2 economy at 1000 total. |
Thanks for the full spoiler thread. :) A good game it was indeed!
Killer and I were too late by the time we were done killing socralynnek. Perhaps we should've gone for you instead. The only problem with that was that I only had two coastal cities, which were on the wrong side of the continent. Your science city was so ridiculously powerful, that you ran through the tech tree with seven-league boots. That's a trick I definitely need to remember. Plus that if I see someone with such a economic superiority, it means forces need to be directed to that player. Because once that advantage really kicks in, it's a lost cause for the rest of the game. Well played, Beorn! :) Onto the next one... |
The bit just before triremes felt a bit tense. Once I had those the game was mine to lose.
Pangea next time? And city razing on, if only for barbs? |
Congratulations! Well played, well deserved.
You made the best out of your starting position, I did not... |
To be fair, it was slightly worse of a position than Maarten's. Not enough to make a huge difference 1 on 1, but it was never 1 on 1 ...

Just lurking after replacing ProPain for a few turns, a very nice spoiler indeed. Good to read and congrats.
