Friday night Civ V?
 

With the release planned on friday I thought we might revive Shabba's Friday night Civ idea.

I'm thinking of a MP game on pangea settings and not to big a map. That way we should be able to finish it quickly, maybe even the same night. If not we can continue next friday or turn it into a pbem or something.

In what time zone are you Beorn? Cause our friday night most likely won't be yours and vice versa :)

Beorn and Barbu can have their on FNPB. I'm not sure what I have to do this friday, but I guess I'm available. I have to admit that I'm not yet quite sure if I even want to play multiplayer, it spoiled my fun the last time around. OTOH, haven't touched the game yet anyway.

It'll be early Saturday mornings for us, very early, but civ is worth it. Plus, it'll get us to start our week-end early - god knows I'd never get started Saturday otherwise ;)

Posted a Steam event for this friday. Picked 22:00 CET starting time, but we can adjust that afaic.

Ooh, I was thinking I probably would be back home too late to join, but I could probably make that time. It may be my very first attempt to play mind you and I've not read the manual yet!

Same here, and I dont plan to read that manual anyway.
