POLL 4 TEXAS HOLD'EM

Should we take the game down and start a new one?

akots 01-04-2008 01:01

Voted no, for reasons that I put forward in main thread.

Matrix 01-04-2008 01:02

Definitely not. And since I'm not a loser I suppose mauer is one. I thought the reason would be because some have bad starts, but if it's about settings: this will be the first MP game I ever had on an archipelago map, so this is going to be much more interesting than all the other games I've played.

mauer 01-04-2008 01:08

Again, just thought I'd float this out there. I know everyone would love to have an ideal start, but we all know that doesn't happen to everyone. It is difficult to make sure the map is "fair and balanced" without having someone inspect or create the map. I will say that if this were an SP game that I would have started over by now. But I guess that's what'll make this map more interesting is that I have to deal with you goobers. BTW, Matrix voted the way my wife would.

well i voted mauers a loser but in reality i don't mind that much tbh my start sucks but at least i can die quickly if need be!

Beorn 01-04-2008 02:10

I also voted but I have no business here.

mauer 01-04-2008 02:25

It's near unanimous then. I actually even voted for that Mauer dude. Was him or Obama.

A poll! not closed! I want to vote!

Play Ball.

Robi D 01-04-2008 10:03

Voted no, the start may be a little slow due to less then ideal land but it will pick up as all games do once you start meeting people, making friends and destroying their empires

edit- Just thinking on the positive side of our crappy land means if good land is hard to find you can expect more fighting over it in the future

Robboo 01-04-2008 13:09

nah...play what you got. Then we can start another one.
