Coming from first-past-the-post Canada, I find this portrait fascinating. How blue the whole thing is, yet it's ~25% of votes. How Urk is all CHRISTIANS! How many right-wing parties coexist. The great pun "Animals rights/left". Loving the whole thing.

Hey, thanks! I've been meaning to make a FB post trying to explain the election results, but where to begin with 17 parties? This is actually very useful.

Urk used to be an island, until part of the IJsselmeer (formerly Zuiderzee) got drained. They still have an island mentality and are...odd. ;)

It isn't. We don't have a "first past the post" system, the chart shows the party with the most votes in the corresponding municipality.

Not ALL "all", but a wild 54% appearing out of nowhere ... it stands out.

But apparently there are some fascists there as well.

Your party names almost all sound like crazy nutcase parties here. :confused:[confused]
