Kemal is finishing Abe and I'm doing fairly well at slapping TOkugawa around. What do you guys think of this game?

interestinh new development! Abe offered my engineering and theology quite cheap (375 gold) for an alliance against Kemal. Our peace treaty expired a while ago so I offered Kemal to sell me the techs for 250 gold and prvent a war and war weariness. He refused!

So I made the deal with Abe. Contacted Shaka who wanted to ally against Kemal for 50 gold and 2 gpt when I threw in engineering. Seemed fine to me. Got Hannibal involved for some gems, Mongolia for the republic and Korea for 200 cash. Sold theology to Shaka for 8 gpt.

So everybody's at war with Kemal and I got engineering and theology for 325 gold (after adding up all the deals). Lets hope this will force hiim out of republic quickly when the initial happiness subsides.

I guess this will be the end of the friendly relations between me and Kemal however...:D

I dont want to spoil the party but happiness doesn't count in PBEM as it counts in single player. There is a thread at CFC where this it is stated that you can even be a democracy all game and fight a war! They have done it because otherwise people will force the other human player into war all the time to force them out of democarcy or republic... ;)

You just spoiled the party! LOL!!! Had I known that I would have gone republic instead of monarchy. But nevertheless Kemal is at war with everybody now, so that will hamper his tech trading at least. I'll settle for that for now. (so my gamestyle does suck..haha)

Don't worry guys, when I was attacking the Ottomans in Republic I got 27% WW in some cities after just 3 or 4 turns at war!!!

I'm sure lots of it was because I was the agressor, but I'm glad now I didn't change to Democracy before, or it would have been brutal...

after relieving Tokugawa of the great lib something unsettling happened. I gained 4 techs, all the way up to navigation!! Also Kemal has turned democracy. NOT GOOD. Damn tech monger. For now I'm still the owner of the stronger military but I need to keep it that way. I'm gonna wipe the koreans/carthaginians after the Japs and see if I'll manage a domination vic. I'll keep the nice little backward mongols around for a backup diplo way out.

I hate those teching bastards. They mess up my warmongering :)
