server migration
 

Our ISP is performing a server migration this weekend. Considering our one man ISP announced this thursday evening at 23PM and sent 4 more mails within 10 minutes to correct mistakes in that mail I won't be surprised if we experience some downtime. :)

No worries though, support is usually really good. When something goes belly up he fixes this fast no matter how ungodly the hour.

Now, all keep your fingers crossed. :D

Weekend came and went, and the site is still up. Operation successful or terribly delayed?

Probably meant next year.

Or next month

well, frankly I dont know. Didn't get another email from our ISP which means one of two things

1- operation finished succesfully
2- operation postponed without further notice

Option 2 was what happened last time (6 months ago), so your guesses in this matter are as good as mine :)

Perhaps it is time to make sure The Fist is operational. :rolleyes:

I don't think the youtube thingie is working?

It is but the youtube thingie adds the URL itself, you just enter the movie 'tag' between the youtube markers. In case of your video that would be: [ youtube ]v_F1sudD76o[ / youtube ]

Als I think you tried to enter the entire URL because you opened [ Youtube ] but closed [ \ url]

Well, something happened, because my home IP is blocked again.
