I felt the same for the first game but it comes back real quick. Plus you have time to take the rust off with a single player game or two early on before anytging happens.

Added advantage: multiple people can be logged in at the same. ZeroTier will be the tool, as it's light and effective. You'll get instructions once it's set up; it's not complicated.
