CDZ spring/summer meeting

Please tell me which weekend suits you best to come to Groningen...

Please note that you won't have to come all days. As usual the first people arrive on Friday for a foretaste, but Saturday is the day. On Sunday some play just another one for the road.

(Crap, that shouldn't be "May", but "June"!!! Could a moderator please change that?! Thanks!)

Edit: Please note that a specific date is now set: 13th to 14th of June. (No friday evening.)

socralynnek 08-04-2009 09:01

You force me to click "none" as none of the above mentioned is actually a weekend. I can't come in May, but I don't know either when I could come.

Shabbaman 08-04-2009 10:44

I'd have to check my calendar for it, but so far either date sounds fine.

socralynnek 08-04-2009 11:17

OK, June might be better. I still leave my vote at none. I'll see what you guys decide and then I'll take a look on whether I can find the time to go.

Darkness 08-04-2009 14:14

All weekends seem good options to me. :)

NHJ 08-04-2009 15:04

12-14 is possible, but not very suitable. 19-21 is pretty much impossible since it's right before I have to go to Delft for a week to finish the semester. 26-28 is great :)

Stapel 08-04-2009 21:56

I probably have to play cricket on each of the saturdays. But it seems likely I can make an exception somewhere.

It would suit me best, if the date is set asap!

Nice work Matrix!!!!

Nice work Matrix!!!!

I'm with stupid although I don't play cricket. ;)

Shabbaman 23-04-2009 17:27

[bump]

Matrix 23-04-2009 19:39

A just bump. ;)

The last weekend is not possible for me, actually, because I'll be in Belgium at the Graspop festival. :D And since the second has one vote less, my suggestion is 12th to 14th of June!

barbu1977 23-04-2009 21:14

For fun, I've checked plane tickets fares, and i can confirm I won't be there.

Rowing boats seam to be quite cheap these days and very friendly to the environment. ;) Besides you'll have the St.Lawrence and the Gulfstream in your back. :D

Matrix 27-04-2009 17:15

So who will come?

ProPain 27-04-2009 17:55

I think all weekends are fine with me.

Well it's not that expensive, I was able to find Montreal-Brussels for 640CAD (Montreal- Amsterdam was 1200 CAD). Unfortunatly, I would have to take 3 days off in a realy bad time for my project.

Matrix 09-05-2009 02:47

Could everybody who plans to come please reply and say so?

Shabbaman 09-05-2009 11:15

Ah, the signup thread ;) I'm in!

Rik Meleet 17-05-2009 01:26

I have things to do the 13th, the 20th and probably the 27th.
I am working on shifting the appointment from the 13th to later. I'll let you know when I have more info.

NHJ 17-05-2009 11:59

I'll be there, though I probably have to work on saturdaymorning and early afternoon.

ProPain 26-05-2009 22:45

So what;s the final verdict in the date?

Matrix 26-05-2009 23:26

Yes, 12th to 14th of June.

Can you come?

ProPain 27-05-2009 10:03

I'm planning to come over for sure.

Same weekend is swingue's birthday party and possibly a neighbourhood BBQ. Both on saturday though so I'm thinking to come over friday and leave saturday.

Matrix 27-05-2009 10:46

Hmm, well, forgot to mention here, but I'm not at home that friday, or at least not until very late. http://www.straland.com/images/smilies/undecided.gif

I'm considering to call the whole thing off. Only Shabbaman and NHJ seem to be able to come.

Rik Meleet 27-05-2009 20:28

Well; I've got things sorted out and I'm available for the weekend.

ProPain 27-05-2009 20:49

I can come over sunday. Maybe saturday evening alrdy.

Beam 27-05-2009 21:19

My plan is to be there Sat and Sun but a couple of our customers have delayed there BSN introduction by a month and therefore I keep a "slag om de arm". Does babblefish translate that? :)

Matrix 28-05-2009 00:00

Sure: a hit on the arm.

But if you three would come that would be nice. :) Just wondering about Stapel and Darkness then. They're almost always 'of the party'.

That knocks!
But I have to play cricket on 13 June. Maybe I might show up on saturday evening, but there you cannot from up on :) .

Sorry for the late response, I just got back from Philadelphia.

I'm probably going to have to miss this, I've just got too many things going on right now. :(

Shabbaman 08-06-2009 09:24

So what's the plan? Final roll call!

Matrix 08-06-2009 13:30

I'm going to the Efteling on friday and will be back home very late. Next saturday everyone's welcome after noon.

ETA:
Shabbaman: saturday
Rik Meleet: saturday
NHJ: saturday
Stapel: saturday evening or sunday
ProPain: saturday evening or sunday
Beam: ???

Shabbaman 08-06-2009 16:05

Hm, pity, that doesn't really look like a large group this time.

Quality over quantity :)

Beam 10-06-2009 21:20

Still looks OK for me this weekend. :)

Shabbaman 10-06-2009 22:09

OK, so the plan is to get at Matrix' place "after noon" (guess that means three o clock?) and hope for more than 4 people to show up? Sounds like a plan. I just hope you're not hoping for me to play civ4 competitively. I'll bring a laptop though. And a civ disc. Anything else?

Matrix 11-06-2009 13:45

Don't you have the Civilization board game? (The new one...) That would be fun! :) Other than that we also have enough 'analog' games we might play.

Glad you can come, Beam. [goodjob]

ProPain 11-06-2009 13:59

I own the boardgame but it's somewhere in a box on my attic. Haven't really gotten around playing boardgames ever since my move :) Will try and find it but my attic is still quite a mess so no promises I;m affraid.

Shabbaman 11-06-2009 16:03

Euh, I can bring it but it's kinda big. It'd also require about all the time we have available just to complete 1 game. But if you want to play it: if you take care of it and return it to my sister (who lives in Grunn as well) you can borrow it.

ProPain 11-06-2009 17:03

nice one, saves me a long search of the attic :)

BTW I'll be staying over, do I need to bring gear?

Rik Meleet 11-06-2009 18:53

I've just bought Perudo this week. I will bring it. It's a dice game for 6 players and it's fun.
