The federation thread

Checked the federation thread and lots of thing have happened.

- new members [cool]
- new titles [crazyeye]

So, [shabba] care to give an update whats happening in the [tvs] hattrick federation.

And maybe a new member thread would be nice to so new members can say [wavey] and then we can spam em :)

Shabbaman 13-05-2005 18:49

I will, but I'm kind of in the middle of moving all my stuff across the nation. I've made welcome threads in the hattrick federation subforum. Some of the new members aren't cdz members, although one of them signed up recently.

Shabbaman 20-05-2005 15:36

Well, we have a new member: Elsaak. I guess we all know him, he has participated in the CDZ cup and is a CFC member.

Shabbaman 04-06-2005 18:47

We have two new members: Mistfit (you know, from the maurauders), and (mean)isak who's a member of cfc and apolyton. Welcome!

Shabbaman 03-07-2005 10:50

Arne1 is now a member of the federation as well. Welcome!

akots 15-09-2005 18:21

I finally got H-supporter and tried to join the federation but nothing happens yet. [confused]

Shabbaman 15-09-2005 21:22

Sorry, I don't check HT every five minutes.

bed_head7 15-09-2005 21:30

I think that akots probably didn't realize his application had to be okayed to join the CPF, as most other federations automatically let people join.

akots 15-09-2005 22:09

That is exactly the case. I did not realize the approval is required.

Shabbaman 15-09-2005 23:01

Automatically? You mean there's a way I don't have to do that manually? I'll have to look into that...

Tubby Rower 10-04-2006 15:39

Just so you know... As soon as I get a team, I'll pony up the $23 bucks and join the CPF federation

Shabbaman 10-04-2006 15:50

Ooooh nice, another opportunity for initiation rites [whipped]

BCLG100 10-04-2006 19:59

what are the benefeits of paying for hattrick?

Shabbaman 10-04-2006 20:07

None, except you can post press announcements. And you get to bugger mistfit for a club logo.

Tubby Rower 10-04-2006 20:27

don't forget the warm fuzzy feeling.....

BCLG100 10-04-2006 21:23

Ah k and just what the point is press announcements, they actually do anything?

Shabbaman 10-04-2006 22:10

Sure, you can annoy your opponents with them.

ProPain 10-04-2006 23:11

I think the bookmark functions that come with paying are quite nice. Saves a lot of time.

BCLG100 10-04-2006 23:53

how do you mean? bookmarking what?

Dell19 11-04-2006 12:24

You can bookmark players, teams/users, matches and leagues so that you can quickly find things.

Tubby Rower 11-04-2006 12:37

I signed up as a tank last night. I was pretty scared when all of the spears were in there [lol]

Shabbaman 17-08-2006 08:12

I've read some complaints on the fed forum that this fed is actually pretty lame. I don't really perceive that as a problem, but is there anyone who thinks that some of the spa...errr... discussion should move from this forum to the hattrick site?

bed_head7 17-08-2006 10:36

Yeah, I guess my goodbye can be perceived as such. No real reason for CPF when we have CDZ, it seems. And no real reason for someone just involved via hattrick to get involved period, unless they are in to the cup, which certainly has drawn in people.

BCLG100 18-08-2006 03:51

i think i mighta left because i didnt pay any more money because it seemed pointless....

yndy 18-08-2006 14:59

I stay in the fed for the title. Also it's nice to have a Civ fed on the Hattrick conferences, just like we have a Hattrick sub-forum on a civ site. :)

Shabbaman 22-04-2009 13:30

I've created a new honorary title for all winners of the BCLG-award (from now on forward known as The Award Formerly Known As the BCLG100 Award). And all winners of the CDZ cup can also claim their honorary title.

In other news: the newest fed member also signed up at CDZ, hurray for sirvijon!

socralynnek 22-04-2009 14:42

Oh damn, another reason for the HTs to open up more fed spots...I want the winner title (btw, do we have someone who'd won both awards? Aggie?)

I only won the The Award Formerly Known As the BCLG100 Award. So I certainly want that one! Highest ranking so far: 9....

I guess this changes this season, but nr 1 is out of scope... (going to MotS the final two league matches).

BCLG100 22-04-2009 14:52

didn't arne win them both in consecutive seasons?

Yup

Shabbaman 22-04-2009 15:45

Note that I meant by "claim" "use the appropriate feature on hattrick.org", not "spam this thread".

Aggie 22-04-2009 15:51

I wish I could. I can't apply for The Award Formerly Know As the BCLG100 Award .............

BCLG100 22-04-2009 16:25

@shabba
you know you've spelt 'member' wrong?

also i don't know how to apply for a position as it doesn't seem to let me apply for anything other than a management position.

Shabbaman 23-04-2009 10:09

I'll make a member-category just to keep BCLG happy. But can you sollicit for the cup winner functions now or what?

Aggie 23-04-2009 10:19

It works now!

Swingue 05-05-2009 16:16
