No out-of-game contact yet. Need to see Furiey's lands as well as the 2nd roman empire that is N of Azza 1st. But yeah, I need friends.

Time for a bit of an update.

Date is 2650BC (turn 36).

Just completed 1st settler and pottery, researching Masonry to get the stones. Techs completed so far are shown below

Have not revolted to slavery yet.

Sparta built a few warriors and is now finishing a rax. It's also resource intensive, with sheep, copper, horses, stone, and silver. To work it all, I'll need some windmills and some more irrigation.

Athens built a worker, a fishing boat, and now the first settler. Another fishing boat or 2 are on the way, one for clams, the other to explore (maybe). It'll also build a granery and another settler if Sparta can't build units fast enough.

The new settler is going to be placed on a hill, right in Azza's eye. Warrior train is setup for defense.

Not so hot, but should get better. I will contact Furiey shortly to see if she's interested in a simple peace treaty with an eye towards future trading.

Ok, peace reached with Furiey till turn 100. Azza is the only other civ near me, and I'm not sure I'm in the friendly mood with him.

Barbu: Peace till 1000AD. A 30 turn cancelation warning is required. Open borders.

Donovan Zoi open border + peace till 1000AD. We are also going to attack the AI'd Azza on turn 90 (2 turns from now) and divide him. Donovan wants only 2 cities. I want at least 3. I only have 1 cat and a bunch of Phalanx to pull this off, so it's likely to be a slow grind. However, I think I poached his only iron, so no Preats.

Reached out the Furiey to see if she want to extend peace. I'd like to not think about her marching in whilst I march out ;)

Also, Donovan contacted me to request a wait till turn 94-95 as he's away this weekend.
