Also Beam yes ok, my logic is flawed there, I had actually reinstalled Civ3 the day before I saw this. But this is the first game that I've finished since the reinstall and it was a fantastic romp.

Oh did I say finished? Conquest victory in 460AD. Slow but enjoyable [coool]

Conquest in 440AD - 3h 30min of play. A bit slow on the last phase of tracking down the ladies. No change there.

I was tempted to let them build more cities to see what was coming next - but my ruthless instincts overcame that.

Edit:Having read the read about PPs nuptials, I understand this now. Doh.

Ironic that only married men seem to have finished the game.
