It is compared to France, obviously ;)

You're entirely right, Shabba, and I'm being very serious. Our country sucks hard, and we hear more and more feedbacks from people actually finding good jobs in foreign countries, mostly in Northern Europe and North America. Maybe I should think of that solution as well, as my chances to find a job in IT here are not that high (because of my fucked-up CV)...

CV
Civilization 5. ;) I think I should stop thinking about my CV and start thinking about the next Civ game.

If this was wrong in any way it would show up in the infantmortalityrate! I am all for delivering where the mom (and to lesser extend dad) want to. The stress of having to move to Hospital "as soon as it starts (but how the fuck do I know if it has started???)" and then hearing that it was just a pre-contraction...

I could name a dozen or so more very good reasons, but somehow that would shift the topic too much.:D

Matrix 15-02-2007 22:49

Well, infant mortality actually is rather low compared to neighbouring countries. It's one of the lesser things of our medical performances. But doctors here do not blame it on deliveries at home.

I can't find a source at CBS to back this up. [hmm] But I remember this was in the news about a year ago.

Socrates 16-02-2007 00:10

Well, then, I blame it on cultural differences. :D The guy said he was all wet (of fear) when his baby was delivered at home that way. For the record, I have never heard of any delivery at home in France, it must be quite rare.

Shifting the topic ? Well, anything to add about the CDZ meetup in Den Haag then ? ;)
