How reliable is HO! these days?

By week 10 of next season with no regards to injuries i should have a team with 1 WC striker and a supernatural striker. I was planning on switching over to IM training at some point next season so was wondering when i should do this? should i wait or start at the beginning of the season?

If im going to wait then i'll train set pieces or stamina or something like that over the close season and get trainees whilst they're young.

Concerning what?

The training progress?

AFAIK HT doesn't deliver the stamina setting in the XML files yet (Am I correct?). Therefore the HO! can't be reliable concerning training speed atm.

Yeah i meant the training progress- but what if i switched efficiency down to match training?

like 93% or whatever.

socralynnek 02-06-2008 13:08

Kind of hard to tell. It is not the only change concerning training speed. AFAIK there are no reliable numbers anywhere on how fast training is going on atm, as the age influence was changed and the skill-dependent training was introduced.
I don't know if HO! even tries to reflect that. (But I guess there is no tool that really does it right)

Hmmm well then which do you think would be better i wait for my forward to achieve Supernatural level and then switch or switch earlier?

socralynnek 02-06-2008 14:35

Which one do you want to sell? Then wait for that skillup. If you don't wanna sell any of those then it doesn't really matter.
Only wage is important then. If he is English, then train him up to supernatural.

Remember: Each training makes the player play better. But nly at a skillup you get real value on the market for that.

BCLG100 02-06-2008 14:48

Well i have 5 trainees right now. The future SN is Israeli and right now im paying him near 10k a week. But i'll be in a lesser division so wages will go down anyways so should i be worried about the increase in wage? is there a tool to see how much it would be? Looking at this guy (130119234) he has a v high subskill and is only 5k more.

By midway through the season i should have 1 SN, 1 WC and a magni at backup.
I should have another two trainees, 20 yr old fromi and outstanding.

I didnt really want to sell the SN, WC or magni. (keeping the 3 attackers allows me formation changes and backup). But was planning on selling the formi and outstanding, those two should net me at least 1 million between them, in addition to the 1.1 million i've already got now and the expected 600k i'm getting from attendances at least. i should have 2.7 million to spend on IM trainees, (thats in £ btw). a 17yrold excellent IM is only 500k so i should have enough to buy 5 if i want.

I have a quick question on fans' expectations

For season 36, my fans say "a mid-table finish would be nice"

but for my cup match they say that "they have the edge"

Here is our two latest matches which happen to be our highest ratings that are available.
http://www.civ3duelzone.com/forum/up...122722_cup.jpg
101.78KB

http://www.civ3duelzone.com/forum/up...122920_cup.jpg
79.83KB

So can anyone tell me what my fans are smoking? Or am I missing something extremely obvious?

BCLG100 12-06-2008 14:05

Well the team on the right is better than yours.... But i dont know if im reading it right.

Tubby Rower 12-06-2008 14:19

how is he better? I'm green and he is red. the only thing that he beats me in is his central attack vs my central defense and that is only by 2 sub-levels. My midfield is about 3 full levels above his. I'm stating this more as a question. Do I really misunderstand things?

EDIT:: the only thing that I can think of is that this team was just recently put together. Maybe the fans kind of average the last 5 matches or something?
