I had even disbanded a warrior so the granary would get done BEFORE the forest was cut - so as not to lose the shields!

I do agree thats it's stupid (understatement) - but alas anarres is right... it has been known since the beginning of time.

So I'm learning to fly now.

I've also checked the other informative thread, but that was pre-1.27(?) and pre-C3C anyways, so I bump-threadjack here.

I'm in 2 C3C epic PBEMs (1vs1 +6 ai, 1vs1vs1 +5 ai). Both started on one comp to speed the thing up.
The 3-player game has been more or less played in a 'training lurking mode' (players could watch each other - we will do that up to 10ad or so), because one player is -comparibly- a civ3 newbee.

I have already digged up the forest chop prob [mad3] and saw the weird go-to behaviour, but I don't understand the barb movement order. I know from the training game that each player can sometimes see barb moves.
[confused]

A player ends turn -> save&exit/continue pops up -> barbs move -> next player
So... do the barbs move visibly where suitable? Barb units are sometimes moved inbetween player's rounds or what? It's not that all barb units move in one go?
