Let's canvas opinion first, I'd like to know what others think too.

I an't gonna say what I think just yet ;)

I don't think that the post count is very important on this site yet. We all know each other and know how to value someones oppinion because of that. If the site would grow however, it is very nice to see who's a regular and who's only an occasional poster.

I dont care about posts. Except for 300 on CFC, thats all. Of course, every moderator could make it so that their own forum doesnt count posts (like the DG)

I really do not care about PC, especially here.

My forum isnt counting posts towards your post count anymore.

Ha

Well, about regular vs. occasional poster: on CFC there are some oldtimers with a high PC. Or even just over 1k. But those people rarely post. My point here, PC doesn't make regular/occasional posting visible. Besides, someone with a lot of one word stories (or a regular in the chess forum) behind his name doesn't make him a respected poster, does it?

Maybe, we could use fixed titles and just ditch the PC. Every forum has custom titles and PC. It doesn't add that much: it's about the post (stupid!)

The post count here will be removed from the standard display. It will still be visible in the members list.

While you're waiting for me to mod the asp code you can vote to keep or remove the postcount at CFC:

Should the post count be hidden? (http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=51242)

Yeah, I broke 2000 at CFC so I really don't care. As long as I have more posts than my brother ;)

Why not open a poll here ;)

And see how PP 'adjusts' your profile.

[lol] OK, I will wait and hold a poll when the poll mod is installed.

I must back ProPain up in what he says, if anyone holds a poll before the mod is complete it will fuck up the polls forever, it is likely that a *total* restore of the forum code would be the only thing that could fix it.

Hmmm... Would that include resetting PC ;)
