I just bought a slave from the Babs for 140 Gold. Next steps: Granaries in capital and one of the other towns, the last one barracks and Spears (BARBS!!!!)

I took over the crown, only because he spent 7 weeks PBEM-less. He will be Mr PBEM again before you can say "Angstschreeuw" :)

OK, the shit has hit the proverbial fan:

I killed Kemals offending warrior blocking an isthnus, and he bought Carthage into war with me. I killed 11 units for zero losses but they ask a city for peace.
I bought Greece into war with kemal and he still cna take bites out of Rome - fuck!


Now, I got beaten to two max research gambles and am far behind, Carthage broguht Babs into war and I razed a Carth city and they still want a city for peace :(

I got a leader last turn, taking out a 1 HP NuMed with an elite Spear. Nothing to do with him yet :(
