Manhattan Project hasn't been built yet. But nukes simply exist just like any other game. But I think most people will have built Strategic Defense Shield before anyone else has finished Manhattan Project, at least, if everyone is smart enough. ;)

Yes, he was. But Manhattan Project isn't built yet. I think people will have as much time building a missile shield as Manhattan Project. But to also build ICBM's... http://www.straland.com/images/smilies/undecided.gif

But tactical nukes can do the job too. ;) They can't be intercepted by the missile shield.

One question about game balance: Have the civs had their GA yet ? If not, the German player has a great advantage over the other civs, as he'll find it far easier to get one. I'd hate to be the Egyptians in that case ! The Romans, too, will likely have problems getting one, though their traits at least are probably more helpful than the Egyptians'.

I loaded it up as Rome to see what I was getting myself into, and was able to build the Legionary so I suspect they aren't disabled.

The game commenced and WildFire has it! :D We're playing in the same sequence as I've listed above, since WildFire and Nightfa11 are the only ones from the US; the rest is European.

I don't have my own subforum here, so the first one to read this can start a thread about it.

By the way, if there's something terribly wrong with this sequence we can easily restart. Better to start later and play quickly than to rush the start and progress slowly.
