Someone has been playing this one game for 10 years now, reaching the year 3991 AD...

His skills leave a lot to be desired, but that's what made the game so fascinating, that it appeared to have become an 'internet hit'.

Original report: http://www.reddit.com/r/gaming/comments/uxpil/ive_been_playing_the_same_game_of_civilization_ii/

It became so popular that it got its own subreddit:

Thunderfall wiped off his balsam to report it too: http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=464175

I forgot what this thread was about, so I think I'll just play this funny Civ2 game where someone has been trying to win it for the last ten years. Did anyone hear anything about that, by the way?

I wouldn't fancy putting it in the subs forum either, a battleship might sneek in! ;)

Not a civ2 n00b just a general n00b. Also, I was playing civ2 when it came out you'd probably have one up on me for civ1.
