Well, so far Lionel is immobile enough (but just barely) that things are still manageable. And Silja loves and adores her baby brother, so that she is extra-nice and -helpful.

Lionel is doing really well, I am glad to report. However, we're extremely scared and afraid: a good friend had a baby yesterday. The little girl died today. Now we can't let Lionel sleep in peace, but check on him every few seconds.

Horrible news. :( But what makes you think the same will happen to Lionel?

nothing rational, obviously. I expect him to live long and prosper.

Awful news.

Just thinking about this kind of thing makes my stress level raise a few db.

My point exactly. ;) But I can well imagine how this type of news would frighten you.

yeah, I KNOW we are being stupid. 0.04% chance. Still, the human mind is not fully rational.
