You guys used the hattriX-Cupmanager (http://www.databased.at/hattrick/cupmanager/)? I do not know how much is involved in setting it up but it actually books the matches for you and keeps scores. This is what the cup I am in uses and it is pretty cool.

No! Playing and running a Cup is FREE. You may register by paying to get more features just like with hattrick supporter though.

The coolest thing about that site for me was the fact that it booked my next opponent for me :D I did not have to do a thing.. I do not, however, know if that is a 'supporter'ish' feature or not.

I'm about to set this thing up.
We have 8 teams and 7 friendly left in the season. What do you guys wan?
1- 2 groups of 4 with home and away against each teams in the group. Only first of each group move to a final (7 weeks)
2- Simple Round Robin play. No finals. (7 weeks)
3- 2 groups of 4 with top 2 moving on. (5 weeks)
4 - 2 groups of 4 with all teams moving on to a knock-out (6 weeks)
I would go with option 4 and 2 as a second choice.

You have to authorize the website in hattrick.
From what I can read, the website sends the chalenge, but you still have to accept.

It did the same thing to me at first. You have to change it to english manualy. I have no clue why.

It is in Bulgarian which is just a first language from the top and comes apparently as default.

The auto-challenge isn't working for me so i've sent akots a normal challenge.
Burchtheren booked another friendly while I was hoping to use the tool.
I seem to have a problem getting on the CDZ-site from home. :-(
I trred to connect, but it was not working. There was no challenge at 23.00. So I thought I better arange something before I forget.

Sadly no players got hurt in our match which is out of tradition, but you can't have it all.

I'm sure I authorised the hattrick cupmanager to get automatic challenges, but I didn't receive a challenge. There seems to be a problem with the cup page as well, I can't see the fixtures. I've challenged propain the good oldfashioned way.
Totally in style I accepted the good old fashioned way as well. I tries the auto challenge thingie but the pages wouldn't load correctly. Will try again this week.

You can remove your auto-matching thing and set-up the games manualy.
I don't know but I still got the ticket income from the match even though it was played in Durres. So, there is no large waste of money apparently since we only lost 6K. Best thing is that nobody got injured and heroic Chemists won the game.
I don't mind, i got 12k from the event so the money thing isn't a major issue for me. I'd prefer not to fiddle with the auto-arrange/break it.

The format we wanted was not supported by cupwhatever. we needed 3 separate cups to make it work.

Four players got injured (2 mine and 2 barbu's) [headstab], there were two yellow cards [satan] and there was overtime of course [smokin] because the main time finished at ... 5:5. [rant] Were we playing hockey? :confused: Anyhow, Chemists managed to score on 102nd minute of the game for an undeserved 5:6 win. [sun]

I was hopping to see it go into a shootout. Anyways my league win did come at the cost of another CDZ cup lost in the final.
So am I still the only team have won neither trophies?
