Yup.. I turned 40 this week.
Nope this is not a thread hoping for happybirthday wishes..
I just posted it here to put down some of my thoughts..
1.) It is a bit scarey that I am somewhere between 2/3 to 1/2 way done with this life... Oldest male on my Dad's side of the family that we can find is around 64 yrs old...
2.) I do not feel as if I am 40. When I think of myself I envision someone that is mid to late 20's....
3.) I have a child that is within 10 yrs of graduating high school.. and plays Civ.
4.) I have known my wife for over 1/2 of my life...
It all seem surreal to me... but in the end turning 40 is just another day of the week.
